Can I connect 2x 109 to one 13.6v powersupply?

Well.......I guess the title asked my whole question. I will repeat for redundancy

Can I connect 2x AstroFlight 109 to one Astroflight 13.6v powersupply?

Yes. Just add the amp loads together and keep the total under the limit of the power supply.

So if I am charging 2 sets of TP 6S3PL 6000 (2x 3S3PL 6000 in Series) at 4.5 amps each (9 amps total). I should be ok with the 13.6V @ 12.5 Amps limit of the power supply?

No, I meant the amp draws of the battery chargers. It takes a whole lot more current into your charger than what comes out to charge 6S packs, because of the big step-up in voltage.

Determine power (Watts) required.

6 x 4.2 volts x 4.5 amps = 113.4 Watts for one pack. Add about 15% for losses and you need 130 Watts. 130 Watts/13.6 volts = 9+ amps per pack.

LOL, Great job of completely confusing me

Is that 130watts per charger or do I split it between 2 AF 109s so each one needs 65 watts?

I am not big on electrical theory (if my hair stands up on end, then I have touched the wrong wire, is the extent of my knowledge)

So do you think I can attach 2 astro flight 109, to the power supply and charge two of these 6s3p 6000 @4.5 amps at one time without burning down my house

Ok, so after reading your post again, I think I need a 13.6 power supply with 19 or so amps to charge both of these packs with 2 109s or I should just get another power supply with the 109.

Is that right?

You can:

1. Get a second power supply for the other charger.

2. Get a bigger power supply to run both chargers.

3. Use your existing setup at a lower charge rate.

I'd go with one big supply and don't cut it too close. A slightly larger supply than what you'll actually use can't hurt. Pay attention to the power supplies continuous rating which is usually less than its max (peak) rating.

One good thing with 2 power supplies is if you ever want to charge 2 packs that are in series at the same time, you won't have to worry about common ground or source problems (as long as the power supplies don't tie either of their outputs to earth ground.)
