Extreme RC Hobbies-EXCELLENT Hobby shop in Southeast PA.(Lancaster/Buck area)
If anyone gets south of Lancaster, Pa. near "The Buck", stop in a Mussers Markets (just south of the blinking light @ 272/372-left on Friendly Drive), and check out Extreme RC Hobbies.
Eric has done an awesome job with this new store.
The old one wasn't that bad, just old and kinda cramped.
He spent alot of time setting this one up, and it shows !!
HUGE selection !!
Mainly r/c planes, cars, and heli's, but a nice little mix of plastic models, rockets, and some kites.
Excellent selection of electric / gas engines (check out those radial engines), receivers, and radios. From basic Futaba 4YF, to the new Spektrum DX7 and M/P EVO.
If he doesn't have it, he can get it.
They also have a field and track, but you must be AMA member to fly @ the field.
If you can, stop in and tell Eric, "Smitty from RCGroups sent ya" .
Here's some photos of the place.

Yeah, I was doggin him about a website.
It will probably take some time till he's full blown selling on it though, but hopefully sooner than later.
He is spending ALOT of his time ensuring the store is run properly before he spends ALOT more time with a web store.
As many of you have seen over the years, guys stretch themselves thin and go too far ,too quick, then fade away,
but after spending some time talking to Eric, he really seems to have the right philosophy.
It is better to do one thing really good, then 10 things really poorly.
Eric also is very cordial to whoever, car, plane, heli. guys, it does not matter.
I have been in many shops that if you are "not into" what they are "in to", you seem to be wasting their time,
or if you need parts for a "plane", but they are "car" guys, you get the attitude.
This place is definitely R/C friendly, not type friendly !!
Again, stop in if you can and say HI.
P.S. welcome to RCGroups Eric !!

I don't want to sound like a wet blanket but...
I visited the store in April. I was not impressed as an electric flyer. Not much stuff. And worse off the advise that was given to an older gentleman about electric RC motors was just plain wrong. I had to bite my tongue hard not to step up and set the 'salesperson' straight.
Now in all fairness the store is clean, bright inside and big. Also seems to be well stocked if you like cars and slimers.
Sorry but being an honest person just made me say that. I hope the owners hear my message here. Also, since I am honest I do sincerely wish the store the best. They are in a location that is waaaay off the beaten path and I am sure the local hobby heads are happy they are there.

electrics in Pa.
When I need electric stuff-and advise that is good-I go to Williams Grove Hobbies in Mechanicsburg. They stock a lot of electrics (mostly) and they do know what they are talking about. They will also cut you a deal on combos...
Not huge, but they stock lots of good stuff.
