Do a search. There are lots of easy to use CAD file readers free on the web, and lots of good info right here on RCG of how to take these files and convert them into PDFs of any size or scale you want.

Fuselage weight

Can anyone tell me what their Yardbird fuselage weighs all up ready to fly with radio gear installed and fin-rudder (not stab)? I'm trying to get a feel for the ball park to hit with the wooden designs.

Thanks.

Bill

This may not be what you are looking for, but my balsa pod/boom e-fuselage is 22.5 ozs without the flight battery. 26 ozs with the flight battery. The removable stab/elevator is 2 ozs including the nylon bolts and hinges.

Thanks Dion9146. If it's not too much trouble, can you tell me the weight of your Yardbird wing?

Anyone have a non-wood pod and boom or glass fuselage weight?

Thanks.

25 ozs and that is with micro servos attached to both spoilers. I did not use the string pull method due to limited space in the fuselage.
