Maybe the radio companies will even try to offer a solution instead of denying there is a problem at all.
You can just run the 1" wiskers outside the fuse and tape them down flat.

Not with a carbon fuse. You most likely won't even achieve a minimal range check.

If you run the antenna outside through holes, wisker style, you can usually get good range check and range. Some people don't like the "wisker" approach but it does seem to work, according to the posts I have read.

I tried it with my DX7 and my SPIN . Wiskers out with a 6100. 5 launches 1 lock out was enough for me. Got a 9303 on RC classifieds. Perfect.

The 6200 is the best choice IMO. Run both pairs outside the fuse, do NOT tape them down.

Flown my SW2 to the limits of vision many times, never had a radio problem.

EDIT: Removing the plastic cases saves a lot of bulk and weight too.

Just everyone know, I'm in the market for an Evo 9 w/ synth module. I posted in the radio FS/Wanted board and have very few hits.

Can't help you with an EVO9. Now if it was a Futaba 9C, I have one of those for sale.

What about Rx batteries - are 1s LiPo's available or are people just splitting 2s packs themselves?

1S lipos are readily available. For most systems their voltage is too low.

I use both an RDS8000, and a 2.4 JR 8103. I have used one cell setups with the RDS8000, because of its ability to operate on very low voltage. The servo's will stop working before your receiver does . But I use a 2s pack and reg with my Spektrum stuff. I'm working on getting some D47's or D60's so I can run the 2s un-reged.

Here's a random question that someone might be able to answer for me, does anybody know by any chance if a Berg 7 rx will work with a dual conversion radio? Thanks!!

Berrg 7 will work with your Tx on same frequency (of course). Dual conversion on your existing system referes to your receiver.

Jr 9303

I have seen a few references to the JR 9303. I was looking at the new Hitec Aruora, but the Rx's seem large and limited for DLG.

Then I noticed that the JR's can use the Spektrum Rx's which can be quite small. That is attractive and opens up a lot of options, perhaps the largest compatable RX list for spread spectrum.

The question I have for the JR users is does the 9303 have a "hold" switch that would work well for GLG launch presets?
