The official FAI F3P-AP and F3P-AF schedules can be found in the minutes of the CIAM meeting from March 2008, or just watch the videos:

F3P-A Preliminary - Pilot: Derk van der Vecht:

F3P-A Final - Pilot: Benoit Dierickx:

I asked because of that only ,because this it f3p.nl I hit home on a web page!

Why a 'Dutch' F3P-A program.....

Now that F3P is becoming an official CIAM/FAI class also an official P and F program is proposed.

However, the proposals where done by countries that can use very high (15 meters and higher) locations for flying the F3P
Competitions. In Holland this locations are not available and some of the proposed maneuvers can simply not be flown in these
lower locations.

This situation was explained to the CIAM/FAI but they gave no response to this complaint.

So the 'Dutch' decided to modify the proposed P and F program so that we still can fly this class in Holland.

If other countries experience the same problems with the proposed P and F programs for F3P, then please:

- send a complaint to the CIAM (Bob Skinner)
- Feel free to use the Dutch proposal.

Have fun flying

I've just had news of a possible venue in the UK
30mx46mx15m high. The problem of course is how to get any practise in a venue with this sort of ceiling height. The local guys (not me :-( ) will be able to but what about the rest of the UK and NI?

F3P events close to SE Minnesota?

I live in SE Minnesota, USA and have become quite interested in F3P flying. I hope to get a Hacker A10-15S as a Christmas present and will then build an Index 2.2 to go with it.

As far as I know, I am the only person in my area who is interested in F3P flying. I am trying to contact a flying club in Minneapolis that flies electric planes in the Metrodome to see if any of them flies F3P (even if they don't compete).

Just wondering if anyone reading this thread would know of anyone interested in F3P flying who is in my general area (southern Minnesota, northern Iowa, western Wisconsin).

Thanks,

Ray

Edit: I posted this note because it seemed that persons reading this thread were most likely to know about F3P activity in my area. It dawned on me this morning that this might not be a note appropriate for the thread. Please let me know if I should move my note to a new thread. Ray

Edit: No response, so I'll try starting a new thread. Ray

Thanks Jurgen for reminding me lol !
Sad to here about Mons price increase . We are also faced with extremely large over heads to run an indoor competition , so if we do get some thing sorted for 2009 it will surely be in the local leisure center ( basket ball court size ) . Cost is now £45 per hour (UK pound = Euro ) This is why the 2009 F3P schedules were so important !
I am really looking forward to spending some time in Lithuania !

Sorry Richard, it is all my fault. I got myself £500.- in cash when the exchange rate was 0.77, and the pound never recovered.
