Sorry Guy, but I have been organizing AeroMusicals competitions as part of the German Indoor Aerobatics Championship since 2003. There was no FAI F6B back then. The class later was adopted by the FAI as F3P-AM - with identical judging criteria as F6B. I am not changing the name, just because the FAI changed F3P-AM to F3P-AFM this year. Any confusion is rather caused by those name changes. I will continue to call it F3P-AM.

The first AeroMusicals contest of the year will take place in Mons, Belgium, January 14 & 15. The excellent flight site was already used for other major AeroMusicals events, including the first World Air Games AeroMusicals selection contest.
This contest will also be a selection event for the World Artistic Games in China in November, 2012, where the World's 24 top pilots will be invited.
Mons, next to the NATO European headquarters, is an easy reach by car, train or air.

Subject competition is an F6B event and this thread is titled "Contest Upcoming F3P events". This seems to be confusing for some people.

Amen to that - there is not many people who have done so much for indoor competitive flying as you did. It is only fair I guess that we the (former and current F3P and AM and F6B and whatever else those categories may be called - who cares anyway) indoor flyers say that we recognize and remember that.
Guy, this picking is childish and counter productive. We are the pioneers and fai is the late comer who wants to monopolize everything.

Actual two pre-contests and one German Championship are under preparation.

German Championship will include an Indoor-Show at Saturday evening. Pilots who are interested in joining the show can already contact me.
Like last year: pre-contests will be not mandatory for international pilots. As sonn as more details are fixed information will follow at this place.

We tried to avoid usage of same date as for Iitop in france. Unfortunately the information we received for the scheduled dates for Iitop turend out to be wrong at least. No we hit again. Sorry. We will try once more next year.

The new schedules F3P-AP and F3P-AF / description of maneuvers is available at homepage of DAeC http://www.modellflug-im-daec.de/bemod/bemod_index.htm „Vorab-information Flugprogramm der Klasse F3P ab 2012“. Schedules are based on the unofficial documents sent by the CIAM. Changes might happen but anyway we already based our schedules on this. The official versions from CIAM might not be provided before beginning of 2012. Minor changes might be updated in our schedules if they will be noticed in sufficient time before competitions.

Presentations are actual under construction by Peter Uhlig also coming soon at homepage of DAeC.

B-Program 2012 has been coordinated with Jürgen Heilig (DMFV) and will be used in both associations in the same way(except not scoring take off and landing at DAeC). The actual draft is also attached.

Schedule for F3P-C remains unchanged.

Well, I would not call it "scoring" either. You either get 10 points when you perform the standardized take off sequence (S-Pattern), but 0 points if you don't. Same for landing. You will automatically get 10 points when you land directly after the last figure, otherwise you get a Zero.

It is really just a means to prevent extensive trim-flying before or "show fly acts" at the end of the flight.

This system has worked very well over the last three years and I can't remember anybody risking a Zero.

has somebody contact (email) to main organizer in Mons??

My son filled up the entry form and we have no info about it.

We haven´t contact for some hotel or accomodation near by hall.

Registration for Marek is done, I believe.
The organising staff will be at the Infotel in Mons, but many other hotels are available in Mons.

Please contact the organizing club. I think their info is in the original post. I am not affiliated with them or the event. Just trying to help them get the info posted. This thread attempts to be the 1 stop for all F3P contest info worldwide (through the continued efforts of people like Jurgen Heilig).

F6B = F3PAM = Aeromusicals (in Europe) = freestyle (in US). I agree it's confusing but this is an international forum. If the contest is in Europe then I hope those close enough to go will know the terms in use there. No one really says F3P AM here in the US either. I think its beyond my editorial preview to make any changes to what they called it.

Hi Vladislav,

The Hotel Infotel is already fully booked for subject weekend. I am planning to use Hotel IBIS at Mons main station, or the Mercure (former "Hotel de la foret) near SHAPE.

P.S.: It would be nice to know, how many pilots are required to make this event take place. I would like to safe money by paying in advance, but not for an event, which may be cancelled on short notice and then losing all pre-deposits.
