I need help with some 50 mAh packs. for MHLG
I'm planning on using a 50 mAh 4-cell pack in a MHLG. I need to know how long they can run while using only 2 servos. I am using a Feather Rx, two HS-50 servos. If my charger has too fast of a charge rate that the cells can't handle, could I just stick a resistor between the charger and battery pack to reduce the speed of the curent, and still use it on peak detect?

You should get about 30-40 minutes of flight time, depending on many things (how much you move the sticks around, how free the linkages are, etc. I use 110 mah cells in my 4 servo HLG's and they're good for at least 40 minutes. I always set a timer for 30 minutes and then recharge.

If you like the airplane, you may want to consider getting a dedicated charger like the Sirius Charge 100 or the 200. It's a good little charger, and quite robust, plus you can use it out in the field running off a RS car pack. You could also consider 120 mAH NiMH cells if you don't fly in cold weather.
