I read some threads about the Kokams. Please be careful with those things! I think I'll stick with NiMHs.

Had the maiden flight today.... First flight the power was off... First of all the charger must have false peaked and didn't give my 1100ma 8cell Nimhs the oomph to really fly well... At least not what I was used too...
After landing and listening to the motors after the second test flight, I determined that one of them was going flat... Took it home and hooked up a couple of plugs to an amp meter I gleaned from an old car battery charger, I found that one fan was pulling .5amp less that the rest... It was also starting to speed up and slow ever so slightly so I replaced it with a new... Now they all pull 4.5amps on the same battery... Now I'm ready to party tomorrow.... |

That's cool! Too bad about the bad motor but I suppose that happens. I wish you well tomorrow. I hope it does good for you.
