Somebody must have reworked one of these ?

I see lots of them listed, but haven't seen anyone rework one on here ?.. Although I'm not a EDF guy, but could see myself cutting one of these open.

I didn't think it was that ugly.. sure it's no T-33 or F-18, but I figured someone would have the ability to make it "less horrible".. and obviously terribly overpower it, give it some ailerons, flatten out and dihedral, put in a different fan ect..
Alright fine.. they might as well start a new plane. right..
C'mon someone must have tweaked one ?

it looks fine to me,maybe an edf 40 or micro fan.

I don't like how the intakes are above the wing... I understand that tends to cause the fan to ingest messy air, at higher angles of attack. All the same, if the airframe is/was light, it should fly alright... I guess.
