You ought to add some links to the post of building the spitfire and the short video clip I saw a year or two ago on the Electric Aircraft Video forum.
I've downloaded your pictures and commentary of building a spit. (awaiting part II)
Reminds me of the Jack Armstrong stuff that fascinated me as a kid.
I probably have an hour of flight time on a DWE Skeeter and it's still flyable. A spit would be a super cool addition. An ex-girlfriend's father flew spits during WWII. I'd love to find pix of his plane, but then I'd have to call ex-girlfriend. Maybe I should, and then scan both the pictures and log book.
