200mph possible...what gets close?

I posted on the wing forum, "what is the fastest wing." I was delighted to find CK's Demon 6S flying wing! I bought one immeidately and have been enjoying 150mph level flight ever since!

First time post to this thread, I find my interest in high speed electrics growing. The Stryker started it all for me 2 years ago. So, what is the fastest electric plane either custom built or on the market? I don't want a micro racer, but am interested in learning what air frame is the absolute fastest? Is it the jet like craft or is it the pylon racers? I just don't know where to start. No preference on DF or not. I recently heard there is something flying 200mph??? Can anyone help me? Is there a common agreed upon air frame in this forum that is recognized as the fastest plane?

Attach links. Thanks very much for your help.

That's the beauty of electrics, you're not limited by the calorific value of the fuel.
You can just keep adding more "fuel" (cells) and you'll get more power. The limitations are with the airframe strength and pilot mainly. It wouldn't be a problem to get a F5D or F5B model over 200mph with LiPos. But these models are difficult to see when at a distance (especially F5D). The Vector looks like a good option or it should be possible to get a current F3D pylon racer over 200mph with 2.5KW of power, and it's a good size for visibility.

The Vector by Schuebeler bringes 100 m/s -> 360 KPH!
200 MPH = "only" 320 KPH...

So if you want a 200MPH plane... buy a vector or a turbine jet!

My turbine is on the way. Trying to find suitable electric. Thanks for the above links guys. Searching them now! And yes, I know 200mph is not cheap. I am already buying $600 batteries for my wings.....how much worse can it get. And thanks for the tip on which model is easier to see. I need that as I tend to fly out away sometimes. Fly200

My instructor has a very unique plane known as the flying machine which cruises at 150-160 and can get up to 190 in a dive. Seen it with my own eyes.

This is the only Flying Machine I know of, and the guy that designed them is from Florida.. (sorry about the powerplant, it's the best pic I could find).
