http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1207547 Her you go mate,,i have been using the system in my old 35mhz futaba and i tell you its a rock solid system,,look at the thread and the guys that sell the stuff are in there too,the tx and rx are very cheap so you can just convert all your planes over in one go,,,enjoy oh sory,,,yes you should have no probs but you convert the tx as well before you bind so the the tx then becomes a flydreem sig

Well the system is rock solid,,the tx module or diy kit is very cheap and can be moved to any new tx that you purchace and the rx is very cheap also,,you can change your transmitter any time you like and just swap the kit into your new one and not have to replace all the recievers you have purchesed and installed into your models,so you can move with the times and still keep your system the same even if you buy a futaba or hitec whatever ,,its future proof i guess so its like going back to the old days where you could buy a new transmitter and not have to change all your recievers as they had a mhz chan that any tx could use..this has been a pain in the ass since 2.4 came in,,all the systems are locked into their own brand recievers, now you can just put the kit into your new transmitter ,,easy as 123

Was a drop in replacement for the rimfire motor ever found for this model? I'm able to get a kit cheap, but I want to know a clone motor is available first.

Many thanks,

S.

Hi Folks
After wanting a Triplane for a while - since watching a clubmate's massively overpowered VK kit circa 1980, actually - I finally was lead down an alley and forced to buy one on sale visiting a HS in North Carolina.

Research into the colour scheme 'out the box' gave interesting food for thought, and a series of articles in Model Aviation suggested ripping off the red Monokote and recovering it in a scale WW1 finish.

Anyone interested enough in photos of the re-hash - have just started re-covering it?

Dan,

It's a great little plane, you'll love it. I've been flying mine since 2008. It is still one of my favorite planes.

Thanks!
What's your plane flying on?
I'm thinking the suggested motor with 2200's
