What's a good stab airfoil?
Can anybody recommend a good airfoil for the vertical and horizontal stabs on an EDF jet using a WeMoTec minifan?

I've had good luck with a flat plate stab, rounded LE and a tapered TE. Works just fine for the typical sport flyer

i agree, and thinner is better for less drag. I usually use 3/32nd for 70mm jets and 1/4 inch for 90mm.

I'm also using flat plates on smaller models, but a symmetrical airfoil like NACA0009 is a good choice for bigger planes. Thickness can of course be adjusted to suit the subject.
