HEllo Miki,

here is the draft of the small one.
We used a foam CNC milled master ( draft) and it was so lovely that we decided to make a negative of it lol !!!

HEre is the result at the moment, and now we are CNC milling the real mold
On the last picture, i just did put the two halves together without aligning them, but i'll continue to work on it this weel and the i'll send pics again. We will make the landing skids like the real one as well .

More awesome work Fabien. Thanks for sharing. These will sell like mad. How long until release. Any news on the T-Rex multi bladed head development?

HI Guys,

just coming back from a whole day at the field (aaaaaaah that is sooo goooood !).
I'll post all informations tonight, but so far rotorheads design are finnished and the prototypes are due to be finnished next week.
Fuselages, well this one is a total draft but we have lauched the "official" mold this week end on the CNC milling machine.

I do not show closer view or center hub view as we are in the process of patent but i can name that thing: this is the E-Flex (copyright) rotohead series

Interesting rotor head. Well, I already have my own 2,3,4 and 5 bladed rotor head (In this case, 4 bladed will suite the scale body u have)...but yours looks more "pretty!"

E-Flex.... sounds like it is semi-rigid or full articulated rotor hub?

When can we try out those cool stuff!!

the rotorheads will be available in March, from 2 up to 6 blades

You said you liked Civil helicopters, well here is one fuselage that might interrest you:

This is the make-off of the draft fuselage, now we are CNC milling the new mold to manufacture light fiberglass fuselages.

Hello,

we will reveal the rotor head details once it will be put on hte market, as you know i had so many projects, all were stopped because i made the mistake to show detailed pictures and informations when i worked on them, and were most of the time used by other before i could launch the manufacturing..
So now we show only standard views, but after Nuremberg, in March, then all details will be shown (we have copyrighted the name and are in a patent process).

Fabian, I still think you ought to vac form the small fuselages (T-rex size and below) Seems like it would be more cost effective. I started with fiberglass but it was so time consuming and messy plus the body was actually more fragile than the plastic bodies, especially being thin and kept light enough to be a good flyer. Im always open to the offer you made in another post. as far as how the body will look really all depends on the molds.
