LiPo Question - How do you know when you need a charge again?
i just purchased a 6300mah 3-cell pack. i prolly only used about 2000mah or less the last time i ran it, which was a week ago. my question is, should i recharge it again before i go out? or can i run it some more until the next time? i use it for a large sailplane but for motoring up to altitude then shutting off so i dont really need a full pack.
how many volts should it be reading before it's dangerous? how can i tell without a low voltage cut off on my esc? when i hook up the pack to my watt meter it reads 11.6v
this is only my second time i used a lipo

thank everydayflyer. so according to this, im at approximately 52% capacity? whoa, i didnt know i used up that much! i guess i did some more bench testing during the week swapping props.
so, just how much should i have in capacity to store the lipo for long periods of time (winter time etc). i remember asking a similar question on storing but then i only stored it a week at a time.
