Gabby 50 foot bump

I threw the Gabby off my NE 50 Bump just to see what Sloping it might be like.
Wind was blowing 10-15.

I handed my Video Camera to a 12 year old kid that climb the bump with me and he shot the Video.

Great vid!... It looks like one of the prop blades did not fold in the early frames... Loved the rendition of tequila!..

That was the first thing I noticed, as well. Maybe a touch of sandpaper on the blade roots to make them fold back easier.

The Gabby did a pretty good job of working the lift from that small hill. I bet it would be sweet on a bigger hill! Do you always land with full flaps? I usually try to roll the flaps off as I touch down so I don't strip any servos but that looked to be a pretty sweet LZ. Nice job!

I pull up the flaps at the last minute, about 60% of the time.
The ohter 40% of the time, my mind and body are not in sync and what ever happens...well happens.

Are your flaps on the throttle stick or on a knob? I seem to remember that you have the throttle on a slider...It's a lot easier to do when it's on the throttle--I have planes set up both ways and the last-second panic to remember which is which can make for some exciting landings!

The Gabby looks like quite a nice floater--I'll have a Gabby or Renny someday...

Flaps are on the "throttle" stick.

It's really just my brain that forgets or gets to busy to pull them up a the last minute.
