I bought the D gearbox, with the stock IPS motor by accident. I know, should of gotten an A.

Will I need a bigger prop to lift the TM, at the risk of the prop striking the ground.

Morb, if you can, try using the GWS 3 or 4 bladed props. They have been know to give some fine results and can help to solve the ground clearance problem. Besides the TM responds well to a bigger, slow-moving prop as opposed to a smaller, faster one. Watch the amps, though on the bigger props!

Happy landings: -LY.

Tiger Moth Squadron Decal

Hey LY:

Nice looking moth. Tell me, please, where did you get the decal on the vertical stab, that denotes a Tiger Moth Squadron?

I checked the TM Squad site and could not locate the item.

Many thanks

MGODDARD:

Many thanks for the TM Squadron logo. Many thanks also to BC, the father of TM modifications. What he has done for the Tiger Moth is nothing short of religious! My moth will definitely carry the signs of his modifications and inspirations.

Dogsbd:

It's even worse than you can image. LY is from Massachusettes, I am from.....I choke on saying it....gasp ,.......from New York!!!

Now, before you send the boys from Cowpens over to my house, please note I am from New York State.....not New Yawk city. There is a major difference. Besides, I have been here (Rock Hill) since 1985, so some of the rough edges have hopefully worn off!!

Good flying.....

Wow, thanks for the kind words everybody.

hee hee.

Head deflated again, thanks Chuck.

Chuck's right, all the TM mods came from E-Zone, except (I think) I can claim the cf tube landing gear channels, the wire and rubberband landing gear mod, and Calvin and Hobbes for pilots. (And I'm sure I'm not the first for C&H, just the first for a TM on the Zone)
