Great Timing GWS!

I have just got the test flying of my GWS-38 to the stage where I am no longer testing but just simply flying and then I get the email for the Early Bird Me 262.

i'm getting 2 A-10s
one to fly and one to keep in the box for my collection of new in box GWS planes
the one i'll be flying, i don't want crashing so i need to know before i buy it what i need to do

You'll be fine. The bad reputation is waaay overstated. There are a ton of threads here with good tips on that airframe.

I agree with rdeis. The A-10 has some inherent weaknesses just as any other foamie but in the hand of a solid intermediate builder and pilot, it handles fine.

A10 is sensitive to the weight.

You can use 7.4V 1000 ~ 1300mAH for EDF50. If flies well.

how is the A-10 if it's built stock using all GWS parts?

there's only one dealer on this side of the country
i had to battle to get the GWS cargo twin which i just got a short time ago
still waiting for a quad
ordering from the US, gets expensive
they sure like to add on extra fees at the border

no matter
i WANT and WILL have at least two each GWS plane
one to fly and one to keep in the box for my special collection
lol

as for intermediate builder
i think i'm safe
been building planes for people for a while

It's fine. Do a search in the foamy jet form for everything you need to know.

It's getting harder everywhere in Canada. I just spoke to the guy that owns the LHS I shop at and he will no longer carry GWS kits. Only some spare props and odds-and-sods. He'll special order them, at a premium cost of course, but he's not going to stock any.

David, I find Hobby Wholesale very accomodating for GWS planes and parts. I just ordered a sloper Spitfire for far cheaper than any hobby shop around here would have sold it for.

While we are talking Me262 Early Birds, may be GWS should order a new larger box which able to contain P38 together with very little increase of the EMS charge!

I know there are so many flyers missed P38, last time we only run samll qty foam shot then we trim the tooling mode.

How do you think?
