Does anyone have any good/bad info regarding the Wattage Fokker Eindecker EIII?
This plane is on sale this Labor Day at Hobby People for $59.99 (reg. $119.99) seems like a good deal!
Can it be flown and slowed down for landings in a small park? The recommended Battery for this plane is an 8 cell 2/3A 600mAH, is this enough power? I have the same packs only they’re 800mAH (Nickel/Metal) from my ZAGI, will these be adequate? I refuse to buy another set of batteries! The weight of this plane is not disclosed in their Ads or the online pdf. manual, I’m worried that it may be a little heavy. Here’s the specs..

I picked up the Labor Day sale Ad from my local 'Hobby People' store yesterday. This plane goes on sale on Labor Day Only! Not sure if they are honoring this price online or by mail?

I just called Hobby People and the online sales guy said it was a instore sale only. Too bad, it looks like a great little plane!

I really liked this plane it flies at a nice leisurely pace. ROG from grass, be sure to glue the tires to the wheels. Has a battery door
so you don't have to remove the wing to change packs.
I liked flying mine with an apc 8x6e prop. I put ball bearings in my
gearbox, beware of prop strikes as the main gear in the gear box is made of nylon, which makes a cool engine sound after you chip a tooth. Climb out is better with the apc prop and will loop from level flight, will gain a lot of speed in a dive but slows up pretty quick. Nice slow landings no tip stalling but be careful of striking the prop and chiping the gear.
Perfect plane for chasing seagulls from schoolyards. Lost the plane trying to stretch an approch.

Great plane...

Previous advice about gluing the tires on applies, but wheels and gear are weak. The wheels will break and the gear will bend (but not break) on every marginal landing.

Flys great on everything stock, and is very well built. I thought it would not hold up like a foam plane, but it is every bit as strong (or more). Repair is easy too if you crack it up.

As I found out, make sure the prop is balanced. My prop adapter was a bit off after a rough (crash) landing, and it would barely fly until I replaced it.

It turns like crazy, but drops a lot of elevation in the process.
My previous (first) plane was a TM, and it flys in about twice the envelop - Twice as big, fast, and lands twice as fast too!

Stalls are flat with instant recovery.
Indicated balance point on my plane put the battery further back and partially out of the battery box (not a big deal).

Flew inverted for the first time yesterday. Did an outside loop, then flew out upside down. Full rudder rolled it right back over as if it had alerons...

I bought one, and re-did the covering. I also put in strip ailerons while the wing was naked...

It flies fine, it has a better than average included motor & gearbox. It flies about 6-7 minutes on an 8x600 nicad pack.

However, I couldn't resist replacing the motor with a DD external rotor brushless. The exposed windings look cool under the cowling.
