Idea
Where are you from? where do you fly?

Hi all,
I have ben on here for a couple weeks now and have found a few people within a few hours drive from me that also fly helicopters.
There are a few sites online the offer a pilots directory of sorts, but never really list new flyers.

What I would like to achieve is maybe creating a pilots directory here, It seems like a good idea I thought. we all seem to log on here from time to time anyway.

Basically just list your username, location, what you fly and where. that's it.
Unless you like to fly/learn flying (Lone Wolf), then nevermind.

I will start:

ApachePilot,
Where:Mt. PLeasant, Michigan, my back yard
I fly : FP birds< Aerohawk,Cyclone and walkera #4

That easy gang, who knows you might just find some flying buddies this way.

You could put your location in your profile so everyone can see it. I've hooked up with new flying friends that way...

BCP, T-Rex SE, Maxir SE (on the way) and 10 planes.

Thanks,

I was looking to create a more open listing....
Instead of having to search through peoples profiles which (for me) would take forever. As looking atthe left side of the screen doesn't really reveal what all the member flys. Also a lot of new and old members don't have location listed.

As another method, you can click on "Members" on the top and do a search for "Maximum Distance from you". Though, like you said, not everyone has entered their location information!

Thanks all,

I am new here and don't care to be rude...I have put my location in my profile and did a search.... The thing is, though I fly planks too, I also fly helis, this is the reason I posted this thread here, in a heli forum.
I am only looking for heli flyers. I do this because my LHS clerks say they don't know of any...in this area.

I don't know if all this is coming out right, but all I am asking is that people post their username, what and where they fly. Thus allowing anyone to view and if they find someone in thier area they could pm,e-mail that person in hopes of getting together for a flying session, etc....

Thanks again.

KDILL,

You da man.!!!

There is a site where you can register everythin about you across the states so people can find you and vice versa. Forgot where it is, I will try to look for it.
