As long as it is not too heavy, I will buy one and give it a try.

In my way of thinking, that tail assembly is the weakest item on the heli followed by the landing gear.

This looks like a welcomed improvement over the OEM tail.

I can, however, attest to the fact that the Lama v3 flies well without
the tail :-) I'd buy the "improved assembly, though!

it is coming soon, not ready for sale yet

Landing skid and tail truss are easiest to be broken parts of Lama V3.

I will not use stock skid and tail. I'm going to use a carbon fiber pipe to make the tail boom. Using Walkera 53 landing skid on Lama V3 but it's required to modify some stuffs. Let see how's the result

I want to make my lama v3 look like a Trex

The store told me, the price of the new tail will be similar with the esky one,
should be around 8 US dollars.

And the weight is 2 gram more that the original one.

Test video of the new tail:
http://www.miracle-mart.com/video/lama_tail_test.wmv

it seems hard to break it.

And they said, they are testing a new motor for the Lama v3,
which have a bearing case, and new motor end bell for quick change of carbon brush.

It will run cooler and less current draw than the original.
And more stable in flying.

I'm afraid to see their shipping cost from Hong Kong, though.

Hello,
Its to good to be true! I'm sure I'll buy one of this. I had two tails in my heli - both are broken. I had to create an low-cost tail using photo paper - check this link

I'm waiting for new flexible tail.
By the way, does anyone knows if there are better blades for lama? (flexible ones??).

I am running some CF blades on my Lama and just ordered another set for my CX. A trifle bit expensive but IMHO, well worth the cost. You can get them here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll..._promot_widget
