Greg,

I remembered it well, that is the same view I saw just before it hit me. I still have the scar on my arm to show!!!

Snoopy must be really over the edge if he is calling me by the same nick name he used on his twin older brother, Poopy (One time it paid to be second borne in the litter to avoid that first name.) Yes we captured Poopy "Pants" and almost captured his observer Spike last week in sector 12 when I shot them down. Better call off your dog and pull in his leash if he ever wants to see his brother again.
On other matters Greg it is good to see you are now able to get verticle climb with the Pup. Or did you use a crane for that picture? There maybe some teeth in your response to my challenge after all. we will send proof of our capture later. Would you prefer a picture...or should we drop off an ear at your aerodrome? Baron Von Herr Heer in clean pants
Has Snoopy had his distemper shots? Been checked for rabies? Has his acne cleared up?

Alas I have no photos of Snoopy hitting Brian but our spies got us these two photos of his attempt to attack us at the reservoir.

As you see in the photo above he did get airborne but per the photo below it wasn't for long. Was it Snoopy or Greg the mechanic?

Hey Greg! Is Snoopy going to bring his new friend to the Fun Fly? Maybe his problems flying are due to distractions. Baron Von Herr Heer. Our spies are everywhere. One word to Ken and Snoopy is history. Besides my triplane I plan on bringing a new secret plane that I will be reviewing for Ezone and my Lukewarm Liner for AULD. I will also have a couple things for sale. Look forward to our battle three weeks from tomorrow.

The Lukewarm Liner

Here is a picture of my Luke Warm Liner without the helium filled balloons. It is a Poquito HLG designed by Jeff Hunter and converted to power by me with an Astroflight 010 and uses an 8 cell 300 nimh battery for limited motor run competitions. Maybe I should get a new speed controller and try 18, 50 mamp nicads for the 30 second motor run and a seperate 4.8 volt pack of 50s to power the radio? No to complicated for me. Better to stick with what I have and hope my Jimmy Neutron thermal spotting sunglasses work as advertised.

Devil Mountain Raffle

Looks like our raffle this year will be huge--With sponsor's items still arriving we already have 7 planes and a high quality charger as prizes.

Mike Mann at our local hobby shop, Hobbytown USA cotributed three airplanes.

Sheldon contributed a "Sparky".

The club bought three airplanes including a Hobby Lobby foam Spitfire speed 400 which is fully assembled except for radio and speed control and a "Twin Jet."

AstroFlight contributed a new 110 Deluxe charger which can charge up to 24 cells, both NiCad and NiMH.

Ahhh!

I had to work on my day off so the Half Moon Bay BAD is toast for me

I can't believe two years in a row something like this has happened. I'm destined to miss this event.

Let me tell you, working in the aviation business post 9-11 is a real drag, I hope someday soon the industry pulls itself out of the mud.

It's doubtful I can attend Devil Mountain either due to this schedule snafu.

Guys, have some fun out there, and I hope the attendance is good for all you lucky flyers!
