Bipe Flying wing

What do you think?
Wheels are easy on the bottom of the struts.
Motor goes in center strut between wings.

I have a rediculous good deal on two singles for a bipe and includes epp for the struts.

The single flys fine.
Some small field tests with two slofly airfoiled flying wings held up at winglets worked alright.

There has been a real flying wing bipe in the past!

It may go slow yet roll fine.
Might be the perfect solution to backyard slow flying wings needing to roll fast and fly slow.

Do they have to be flat? Could you do an X-wing?

Flat is great for prototyping or keeping it cheap.
If we like we can go foil! Build up from sheet would be cheapest.
Having the foil makes it less pitchy and sure will glide nicely.
Without it you need to leave the in-audible outrunner on at 1/4 throttle and pretend it is gliding
Oooo X wing! Sounds cool.

Sorry, I wasn't talking about aerofoils; I just saw that shape and instantly thought about pinching the middle bit together and maybe adding a little stubby fuselage to make an x-wing.

Dang, that's another one to add to the 'to-do' list...

General rule of thumb with biplane type wings.
The distance between the wings needs to be at least as great as the chord of the wings..

There is also the "with enough power anything can be made to fly'" axoim that trumps all the other rules..
I hope this helps..
good luck it looks cool!!

I can not find a previous link on a full size human carrying delta flying wing bipe. But it was made before- nothing new.
