Don't those two bristols look great...the radiials I mean

Now...how long before HL get them in. On the one hand I would love to get it soon but on the other I just ordered the Fw190 so a little bit of a break would be nice...how about a nice little Beaufighter Xmas gift

Can do flaps as well if you want!

I just read the instruction.

Man you can make it fully functional. There is even instruction for installing functional flaps!

Unfortunately this time the wing is not removable from factory. You have to mod that yourself.

There are built in parts and provisions ready for retracts installation even detailed instructions.

Was just going to post the same thing. If you want you can have functional rudder, flaps, and gears. Wow...pretty neat. This is a definate buy once it comes out.
Since it is about the same size as the others, do you think the price will be similar?

Did you notice that Hobby-Lobby recently raised price on all the Alfas? Used to be $119 not they are $126.

The Beaufighter is a twin much bigger than the rest of the Alfas I expect it to be much more expensive. Maybe approaching $200.

nice plane.

Twin enigine warbirds seem to be in for Xmas, Alpha beaufighter, GWS P38 ...; wingspan is only 40 inches wieght 21.9 oz, still in parkflier range, two axi's or similar outrunners will give it close to 2:1 thurst/wieght! Another plane on my Xmas wish list.

Hey Guys,

Not to be a party crasher but if Alfa has developed this aircraft that means the Flapjack is coming out as well. I would really like to see something other than the Flapjack being produce. Am I the only one that is thinking this? Why not a great Stuka model or B-17? Why develop a airplane that never made it to production?

Because some airplanes that never made it to production are incredibly interesting.

Wow ...are those counter rotating props?
What's the info on that one euromodles.

Hey Six, no argument from here that there are a number of GREAT historic warbirds that get overlooked (Mossie, Typhoon, and Hurricane come to mind), at least Alfa seem to make an effort to come up with something different.

The Beaufighter, Wildcat, La7 (or is a 5...can't remember), Hayate, are all planes that I don't often see reproduced. Gotta give them some credit for that.

Cheers mike

Speaking of more commonly modeled aircraft (but one I would still like to see by alfa), wasn't there supposed to be a Spit MkV due out this fall?

I think they can still get it for you just it is a special order. Just go to any of the HL Alfa planes and click on the Alfa sign. It then takes you to their entire selection including the special order birds.
At least that's how it used to work.
Cheers Mike

PS Actually just tried it and it says the La7 is in stock and the hayate is coming soon. Curious

Hi Mike, no other info on that one.
I bet he figured out how to make these counter rotating props work.
