I'll look over the blanks good before I start to carve anything. I'm out of good building plywood and need to find a good source again. I'm planning to check a few places local before turning to the Internet for as a source.

Boomerangs and RC flying have been a little slow for a while. This has been the windiest spring season I can remember. When it hasn't been windy, it is raining. I'm ready for the calmer days of summer but not ready for the heat.

On a personal note: I am involved in boomerangs for a long time and am the owner of several (I think usefull) websites. boomnews being one of them www.baggressive.com being another. I have seen Milpas Reaper replicas (the logo boomerang for my website) in this forum and was quite intrigued by that. Never made one of wood. What's their flight performance?

The USBA 2008 National Championships and Exposition is taking place in Mesquite, TX (just outside of Dallas) on October 16-19. If you are anywhere near DFW, you should come out on any of those days to see some great boomerang action. If you can only come one day, Sunday the 19th might be the best as there will be lots of demos and free throwing lessons.
