Well the maiden went as expected. she is a bit under powered but gets the job done.. the t-tail did not survive the first landing so back to the drawing board. may just redo it with a conventinal tail.. (stonger)

I will post video later today afer i get the honey do's done..

The ol 'head scratching walk to the crash site' ,, well, it is better than spiking the transmitter. Which BTW is why there aren't many football players flying RC.

I didn't stop breaking tails on mach 2 landings until I went V-tail. Till then, I had to float them on home. V's aren't hard to do really, just different.

That was my first thought but i just did not want to spend the time to calc the tail feather sizes.. V-Tail set up was a bit daunting to me too..

But it is an option next time the tail gets trashed..

I sure like the way the T-Tail looked in the air I will miss that aspect of the plane..

So today was not fun... Im still not sure what i did but i swear i was holding the stick to the right while the glider was making a left handed spiral of death from about 50 feet.

Im lucky this was all the damage.. the wing was fine just poped off.. But the fuse required so CA and TLC.. I will try again tomo and see whats up..

I think i stalled it while making a turn into a shear band of lift over the school roof. must have slowed to much and she diped the wing and started the spiral. I swear i gave opiste control input but may have been to little to late..

I will need to do that I did fly it again today but had to add about 2oz to the nose i think yesterday was i was just to tail heavy todays flight was much more behaved.. almost relaxing

It still porpuses a bit but i can dial that out. when it get slow it still wants to wing over to the left motor on or off so i need to relook at the wing for warps and also verify the insidence of the wing It may be too much hence the loftyness and wanting to stall all the time..
