Help! 28 oz of thrust with 14 oz 3D airplane?
i just finished building a cermark sammy 3D and when finished is going to weigh about 14 to 15 oz's it is a 3D airplane so i wanted to know if 28 oz's of thrust would be enough for it??????

2:1 seems more than enough to me! I believe ~1.4:1 is said to be the minimum for hovering.
That said - I believe their estimate of 800g (28oz) is seriously optimistic. Our calculator suggests 665g/23.5oz for a 9x4.7 APC SF at 8421 rpm. http://www.gobrushless.com/testing/t...=Calculate+Now |
