I would hope the 1/8 scales run the SAME day! Its all good, why not?

I think I would be in for 1/5 elec and 1/5 nitro. PLUS**** 1/8 mod! (get ready fellas, I'm talkin' smack here) I'm all dialed in with the 1/8!

I was wondering if we could setup a day for the HORs at NORCAL Hobbies and if the layout could be simplified for the little guys?

The motorcycles can't really use a RC CAR layout anyway. Its just too technical for the bikes. Simplifying the layout should be a give-in. A good "M" course would be great.

Exactly,

It can be done......but its too technical.

A great M course would do well. Speed, cornering, and rollout passing

I think a layout for Bikes with a big sweeping section and a couple of wide 180 would be more interesting then an M or kidney bean setup. The layout I have seen of guys driving on youtube show you can do some pretty technical stuff. My 2 cents. But we will need more then 4 guys to show up to NorCal for me to change the track just for bikes.Rams seems the more logical choice,.

Not sure what videos on YouTube your talking about but it would be way too slow and technical for any RC Car track with all the turns involved in it. Expecially for the 1/5 scale. The 1/8 scales would get around ok but still, S L O W because the bikes can't turn multiple hair turns like RC Cars can.

The 1/5 bikes ran on a 1/5 track in LA. That seemed about right. 1/10 scale race track will never let the 1/5 bikes "open up" but they don't really have to Open UP. Just race.

Track shapes, Fast, Slow, Technical or not I really just want to run with other folks besides who ever is willing to come out with me and run my loaner. You know how sometimes your not having the best of days and the person whos running your keeps complaining because that bike is not perfect (lol) uh yes thats why that bike is a loaner.

Any how lets make some plans to get out there and have fun on a track.
I'm going to RAMS on sunday and have a look see.
And I would like to come out to NorCal on Sat. I got the 1/8 scale going good right now, so look out Kev

Not trying to get into a debate with the experts,I get enough of that with the car side "experts" of this hobby so........ thats why Rams seems the logical choice. For 1/8th size you guys are on your own I suppose.Bring um to Rams.Maybe they will let you run a class there for them.I can't believe that is not enough space to run those tiny bikes.

The Youtube videos shows these bikes racing in close quarters on a small track. Not my opinion but fact.I will stick with the 1/5th for now. I want to have fun without the politics.

I was hoping to be there earlier, but I can stall out a little saturday morning and then stay as long as the bikes holdout.
Looking forward to it.
