As a matter of fact we did A number of us got together yesterday (wednesday) and we indeed had a great time. I got my OS Cv .12 going strong now (my needles were waaay off) ***Thanks James from RC Unlimited San Jose**** Big Thanks to Sam B. for taking my 1/8 HOR under his wing to fix the bad (I MAN BAAAD) head shake/wabble with the front tire! Myself, Sam, Ray, Brian B.(and a guy I don't know the name of) PLUS a 1/1 rider "Gary" with his Yamaha R1 (a beautiful red one) was there feasting on the wheelies the brushless bikes tamed. Brian B. truly has his 1/8 kyosho on rails! Aside from some wicked tumbles and some unfortunate wheelie dumps his bike ran strong. It also ran for over 1 hour continuously!!! My bike hooked up almost too much with the 100 compount rear. (thanks bruce from www.2wheelhobbies.com. Sammy (the engineer of the club) always has some secret goody he's working on and contributed to much information on what can be changed, confirmed or replaced on our kyosho's. I can't wait to break out my MK1 someday (right now its a shelf queen as its a like new condition currently.) I wish I had taken pics. Once again we ran until well past Dark (going to miss the 9:20 sundown days. Sundown is at 6:55 pm nowadays. All in all, we met a new guy who is super excited and has blown past ROOKIE Mods in just weeks. Looking forward to gettting together soon again!!! Rumor is this saturday!!!! P.S. I am in the process in changing ALL MY SERVOS to Metal Gears. Kevin |

That is great to hear. I hope you guys think about coming down for the NATC final. October 28th and 29th. It should be a good turn out with 1/5th scale drivers coming from out of the country.

WE got together Yesterday (Sat).
5 of us. My, My, My. It was a great time. We highjacked a technology park location here in San Jose. It was a great time (pics may come later). While the 1/5 scale bikes had a strong presance the 1/8 scale bikes ruled the performance attraction! I hope everyone has the chance to get a 1/8 scale kyosho hor. (expecialy since they are available here in the USA now!) We had a chance to ring out the Brushless Kyosho's. A big thanks to Sammy B. for fixing my 1/8 bike's front wheel wobble! Sam is indeed a big source of RCMCC's bike mods!!! WE had some good numbers on a couple of Radar Guns. WOW, that was cool! I Hope to have some pics soon. ***** Note: if anyone is here in the bay area who wants to join us when we get together Private Message me and I will give my information. Kevin |

Well, I have to credit Sammy with the fix.
I think he said it was a number of things that contributed. Namely: 1)The wheel was not balanced (he balanced it with installing wheel weights. 2) The steering axis was not in line with the center of gravity - Fixed 3) Too much play in the steering axis (inside the body of the bike) Fixed 4) My chrome front brake disks were loose and they could get tweaked very easy - Fixed (He took them off all together and replaced it with custom brass spacers..smoooooooooove 5)My servo was not aligned up either (had to fix it with my transmitter - got fixed ***Note: make sure to put the thing together with care EXPECIALY THE STEERING MECHANISM!!!!
