Hi All,
Michael and myself have been talking back and forth for the pass few days about the possibility of making a laser cut Bump kit.

He would like to add models to his on-line shop. He sent me a PDF and I added my own touch to the file and here's what we have!

What do you think Michael?

I forgot! 10" span, 4 gram airframe all 2mm depron

Mike,

Looks like a winner to me. Should work well with either DD 7mm or geared 6mm propulsion. Finish it up with equipment and bring it to NEAT.

Gordon is right - it's intended for use with the 7mm pager DD. My original 10" BUMP uses a M-20 motor and a cut down GWS prop - all I had available at the time. It uses my homemade 0.4gram actuators and a JMP receiver. Flies for ages on an old 145mAh Kokam cell.

With a Plantraco or MicroInvent receiver, 7mm pager and one of the 50mAh cells I will have in stock this week it will be a lot lighter and should be able to fly both very slow and zip right along with "the pedal to the metal". Under 12 grams AUW is acheivable and a big improvement over the current 16.5grams. That's around 30% weight reduction.

I'm cutting Christen Eagle kits and had to wait for the laser to free up before cutting the Bump-Bipe.

Those are some sweeeet planes! Id really like to know the cost of one of these! Maybe he could kit them as a mono or bipe optional thing. Like a 2-in-1. Awesome work, and speedy!

Can you make a polyhedral BUMP?

A suggested price for a kit would be 10$ per + actual shipping. Before you call me an evil minion of Communism (or something), please remember that the Nanoplanes line can be had for 20$ shipped, and includes all sorts of carbon fiber bits, aside from being much larger.
