ESC - Which one to get for a Twinstar?
I am looking for a ESC for y new Twinstar. and have listed those that I can get my hands on easily. Which of these have you tried, comments and reccomendations? TIA
Wattage IC 30
Great Planes C 30 Mini High Power
- (I believe that these two are the same thing!)
Wattage IC 380 AS Super ESC

I would buy the 35 amp esc (jeti). the 30 amp esc will work as well but it won't give you a large safety margin for future upgrades.
if you intend to use the rudder than make sure you get an esc with BEC capable of operating safely 4 servos.
good luck, Oded.

Am using a Jeti Jes 350 (bec) in my TwinStar, have uprated the motors to Jamara 480's using 4 servos (rudder) and all works OK.

Thanks for all the input.
Looks like the Jeti is getting the nodd.
What is this based on?
The Amps it can handle or is it a really good ESC?
Should I go for the Multiplex 400 Duo? 40 Amps!
