Corona support group for our Cult...

What do y'all think about starting a database of spare parts that we all have since Lite Machines is out of action for a while?

.....have to figure the best way to do this.....maybe I can upload a spreadsheet and have everyone add to it. If you need something you could contact the person and see what they want for the part...? What do y'all think?

Matthew

Luckily most of the parts we can get as upgrade items from Matt via helihobby but it would be great to still get some stock parts....

Good idea.....are we sure that Lite machine is down for a while....Aragon posted a link to Shopatron before that was still OK but agree it doesn't look good. Hell the only parts on my Corona that are stock now are the tail slider thingy and some of the collars on the tail, although BTR is on the way, the flybar that you need to mod to add the BT CF flybar and a couple of other odds and ends in the head...The biggest problem I see if LiteMachines is going down is Blades....Although on one of the other threads we were trying to get Bret to sort something out ...good idea anyway.
Cheers

Cool...I think you can use other blade types with Matt's rotor heads. I still use the plastic blades on my BTCP heli but I'd like to get some SAB's!

I'm going to compile my list tonight and see about getting the spreadsheet on here.

I guess those of us with spare blades are the lucky ones.....I got a good deal on a bundle on e bay a few months ago and have the following all NIP:
Pair of translucent Reds
Pair of Reds
Pair of neon Pinks (not as nasty as they sound)
Pair of Blacks

I am actually considering selling my FP BT Corona and would sell these with it although aware that I may have to split the whole lot up to sell it.....

Have you tried Mike Roffee for that tail hub you are after.....
Cheers

I thought I had a picture. Do you need a metal tail hub?

I also have some parts. (and fair number of sets of blade, but I will be keeping those for now) most of the parts are replaceable. tail in worst case can be upgraded. I have enough helis, but was keeping them to train my kids on when they were ready. oh well. we will see what happens.

I have a number of parts I could part with if people need them. In fact I have a few complete helis that I could part out or sell as complete to help out those in need. Maybe I'll make a list on my site of what I have for all to look over.

I'll have the list up here today. The only way to have a true collaborative effort here is just to list the parts with your name, then the next person copies your list and adds his stuff on his post and so on. The last post will be the latest. I don't know how I could share an excel file or such in this type of forum.

I think the only way to do a spreadsheet would be to host it on someones web space.....although maybe then it couldn't be updated.....Difficult one.

What if each person edited their own post of inventory available for trade or sale , in a dedicated thread

no chit chat , these posts would be deleated by thread admin.

You could then see what each member has and contact them directly

call the thread " Corona Parts Inventory "

and away we go
