GWS-38 (P-38 Lightning)... its here.
Early bird emails just went out a few hours ago. I responded to mine.
Rumor has it that the No Power System (White) version is $49.95 plus shipping.
And yes, it has steerable nose gear stock... with possible retract/steerable nose gear coming out in the future.
It also has enough room for flap options... and even enough wingspan and power to weight ratio for bomb drop mechanisms.

Yeah, yeah, but its only got one spinner. I'll give ya $20 for it shipped.
BTW, any dimensions, weight, etc? Looks like no rudder?

The two motor versions are not ready yet because of import restrictions (RoHS)... too much lead and "hazardous" materials in the motor wires and joints I guess.
I don't think there is any rudder plans stock... but I assume the rudder channel is used for the steerable nose wheel for ground taxi.

I would have said the same thing 1 month ago... but you'd be surprised what the 2215's can do on 2s and an 8x4 prop.
Not to mention BOTH GWS 2205's cost less than half of one AXI... and provide a better price/performance ratio.
Don't get me wrong, I like AXI's... but its different when you've actually seen a GWS 2205 setup right on a 2s foamie.

Na landing gear is the way to go , imagine rotating , flying , landing then taxi back awsome , just like the real one deffinattely on my list .
