I've got to agree with Chris on this one. It's bad enough you have to pay full retail for the kit, then pay shipping from china at over half the cost fo the kit again, then pay international phone charges only to have some night janitor grab the information and go on a spending spree and thats if the transmission was not hijakced while crossing the pacific somewhere. I'd think for basically being a beta builder you could get some break on this. This is an awesome deal for GWS, they get us to pay a lot for them to get free advertising on what is perhaps the best venue for electric aircraft around the world! Sorry I'll stop my rant now. I love the planes GWS puts out for scaleish planes on a budget. But just how much does one have to pay as an earlybird? |

Yeah Faxing is secure..... Sure perhaps they go into some electronic que but most places just have the faxes printed out as they come in. So now your personal info is sitting somewhere in Aisa waiting for someone to come by and pick it up. These days I just don't trust places with my personal info like that. |

Lol, faxing is secure... thats rich.
All it takes is a 0.99 cent phone splitter. And funnier yet, in China it prob costs .02 cents. Or maybe a phone tap... which will cost .05 cents in China. Or maybe just one disgruntled GWS office worker, whos looking to "make more". Bottom line, theives around the world look for little more than EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE SENDING... credit card numbers, SSN, birth dates, verification code numbers... the list goes on. This payment method is a poor way of doing business. -Chris |

I expect E-mail fraud is MUCH easier. since anyone around the world with an internet connection can try to get your info, or try to hack into Paypal.
I prefer the odds of someone actually sifting thru the possible hundreds of faxes GWS gets, versus the tens of Millions of e-mail and electronic payments out there on the internet. there seems to be alot more internet related CC fraud, than FAX fraud. (I'll take those odds) |

Back on subject...
I just noticed tha GWS forgot the State and Zipcode in the address field of the forms they e-mailed out. Double check that before you fax anything. I rushed to fax my order and just noticed those were missing. I did e-mail Joyce with my correct mailing address. |
