Phoenix is now available.
I know its been a long time coming but it is finally here. Phoenix is now available from skyline models as of about 10mins ago.
Dont worry about your machine spec. if your machine runs AFPD/G3 or reflex it will easily cope with phoenix. I have a P4 3000 with 512ram and a Geforce 9600 pro and it runs smooth as silk. support promises to be far better than other sims on the market at the moment. grab those credit cards and give skyline a ring you will not be dissapointed! i think a proper review of it with some screenshots will make people get interested in it and will make people buy it. at the moment, no one is talking about it and not many people have experience of it...
i think ade is the only person that's tried it and recommends it....so get a proper review going! |

Just in case anyone’s interested (maybe its just me
) ...I emailed phoenix-sim to see if they have any plans to let users fly their own 3d models and this was the prompt response I received ... Quote:

sales of phoenix are going well from what I hear. the fact there have been no massive threads says a lot. its human nature to not make a big noise if it works but complain like hell if it doesnt.

Ade, you're probably the perfect person to ask about this. How about the helis? I've been looking to switch my AFPD for something else for a long time since the helis aren't very realistic. So is it realistic for helis? Things like transitional lift or vortex ring effects and whatnot. Also, have you tried the other major sims out there and if so how do they compare? Sorry to ask so many questions... my main concern is the heli realism since it quite obviously lacks in AFPD.
Thanks, ~Patrick |

i could spend hours on this one. but for the sake of your sanity and mine, i wont. Suffice to say, it blows afpd out of the water.

I saw the review on Trex Tuning and ordered it. Of course, since I am halfway around the world form home, it should be waiting for me when I get back.
