While I recuperate from a wild couple of weeks running waaaay too hard for us old farts, I'm taking it easy this weekend. I have begun cutting templates for the DD-150.
However, I'm doing a little reality checking while going through it, and see a couple of items of concern (for *my* goals):
- I see this as a super-slow flyer, kinda like my 4F-51. So, I know I need massive control surfaces.
- Also, since it will spend a good bit of time either in hover, or at least high alpha, a rudder is a definate requirement.
- Since it will be flown either indoors or on the street in front of the house, landing gear will be used. I will try to incorporate that into the wing bracing.
I'll try to keep my progress updated as I work on this between naps
