I'm a bit different, I guess... If I show up at work before 8:00 AM, they'll ask if I've wet my bed... I'm afraid our chickens won't get much help from me...

Mine is repaired, and has been painted. Helps defining which way is up, while flying.

Anyone grabbed the sciccors and started building the 150% version yet? (Would love to see some buildpics here).

While I recuperate from a wild couple of weeks running waaaay too hard for us old farts, I'm taking it easy this weekend. I have begun cutting templates for the DD-150.

However, I'm doing a little reality checking while going through it, and see a couple of items of concern (for *my* goals):

- I see this as a super-slow flyer, kinda like my 4F-51. So, I know I need massive control surfaces.

- Also, since it will spend a good bit of time either in hover, or at least high alpha, a rudder is a definate requirement.

- Since it will be flown either indoors or on the street in front of the house, landing gear will be used. I will try to incorporate that into the wing bracing.

I'll try to keep my progress updated as I work on this between naps

The profile Fuse worked exceptionally well on this one and with landing gear , you can incorporate LG and wing bracing all at once... and it's LIGHTER for SLOWER flight ...
