150% you say.
I think that should work well for one of my 400XT's.
I wonder what the expected AUW will be.

Sand... TOG (Thatovalguy ) can usually be found on any of EWO's threads ... basically the process involves using a hot tip , melting lightly through the foam skin and laying in a fine bead of hot glue .... like welding Produces a flexible , lasting join...eliminates having to remove skin at gluing locations ... too hot and you'll end UP with some serious melting ... practice on scrap first

Unfortunately, I won't be bringing the camera... Or myself for that matter

I wasn't able to start on the house alarm until late this afternoon due to a b-day party that we couldn't get out of... Got about 1/2 of the alarm done before I had to start pulling wires underground to the shed. Had to make a trip to the home depot for some conduit, etc. etc. etc... Will have to spend tomorrow finishing the alarm since I promised the wife I'd have it done before we left for vacation next week.

Next time...

Maidened the DDD yesterday .... Cut some half moon shapes in the bottom wing for fingergrips , made launching easy .... first flight needed a lot of UP trim .... Cg was spot on , so I landed and moved the CG a bit to the rear ... less Up was needed , and it flew fine.... Mine must have been heavy and didn't fly that slow , and still no flare on landing .... will try lighter stuff and try to move the cg even further aft ... a bigger one(more area) would definitely be a better flyer ... JMO...

Glen: You may have too much prop torque with a 9" prop... I'm running a 7x4. It slows down pretty well, and still has elevon control with the little prop. Weight might be an issue as well, but isn't it always ??

Yesh '... mine is a bit heavy for it's size ... torque was really no problem .... but I was a bit heavy with 2s 1200@1.9 oz, and the j250 + GWS gearbox... a nice cd motor and K350 should haul it around in grand style ... I'd think for my Cheapo setUP, a Double Depron Duplex Delta would be Delightfull ...and would probably accomidate the popular BP-21 nicely ... Still probably get the two wings and all from one sheet of FFF... Way Cool !!!! Next time I might increase the elevon area for more silly stuff .... Dynamic Double Depron Duplex Delta...Blucor makes it Durable ....

Thanks Gene.

10mm throws were way too much. I finally settled with 100% expo and 40% DualRate. And it can still turn like nothing else. Haven't had this much fun for a long time. It's really fast with this heavy setup. I think it's turned out very nice

Editing vids is fun too.

I'm allmost finished with the 150% plans. Will try to get them online tomorrow.

Tonight I celebrate my 29th birthday.
