Mountain Models newest plane

It hasn't been flown yet, it really belongs over in sport, it doesn't have a name yet, but I thought I'd show you my first prototype. owered by a geared 480 Race, it will pull straight up out of my hand. It will be considerably easier to build than a Switchback and has a steerable tailwheel. This one still needs a cowl.

I need a name for it. If you think of a name and I use it, I'll give you one.

Doug;
I get to be the first one to say it...

Oops, you did it again!

I like it! Cant wait to hear the flight reports.

I think with a cowling, it is going to look AWESOME!

What kind of batteries are you planning?

Kirby, Static, the 480 is pulling 14 amps so the smallest pack it will take is a 600AE. The battery compartment is huge so a bunch of battery types will fit.

Looks like a SMOOTHIE to me! With a nice cowl it will really be a charmer. With nice lines and balance it should really fly nice. Will follow this thread to find out when they become available. Gud Flying.....Dick
