Woodie on Hansen Dam Lake

Okay, for Umi and Jim Duda and others who have wondered what Hansen Dam Lake looks like your ship has come in! lol...

Here is a nice long 6 minute video of my Venice 90 woodie tearing it up on Hansen Lake but with lots of idling and slow driving as well so the surrounding scenery of the area can be seen very well. It was a perfect day to film because the lake was virtually deserted.

Enjoy!

That sounds awsome, Maybe a little foam over the mic to deaden the wind noise.
Could be a little higher on the over the bow shots. It's like ship simulator, not enough peripheral..

The Donzi looks great in the background, and the high speed pass.

Thank you much for that.

Looks awesome, Kmot. With the background of the lake, it looks just like real boat footage. I agree the Donzi runby is very cool also.

Thank you.

Umi, I had a piece of tape over the microphone. You would be stunned how bad the wind noise is without it! I may try a piece of foam taped over it though.

You can still hear that mid-rpm resonation going on even with the strut support I made.

Pretty drivers on a pretty lake...?

One could only hope the folks that drive their boats on such a pretty lake could be pretty, handsome, charming, and gracious...and drive similarly stunning boats as the Venice...(sigh)

How 'bout a shot of the "regulars" sometime with names and your boat(s)?

Kmot,
Great video and even a better place to run the boats. Keep the videos coming.
