Awesome!!! (finally fixed Gyro issues)
Whew! I finally figured out what was wrong with my gyro.
*Idiot* --> ME <--- *idiot
After thinking for the past week my problem was with the radio sending the wrong gain to my Gyro or something like that,... tonight I finally found the problem thanks to the local hobby store,... The gyro was mounted 90 deg to the side instead of right side up! This is my first non-mechanical gyro, and I had just fastened it to the side of my heli with the text reading up, but the bottom of the gyro was actually facing to the side. That sure explains some of the bizarre stuff I had going wrong,... the gyro was correcting tail when the heli pitched up and down,... not a good thing! That explains why norm/reverse had no effect on it either. Just goes to show that sometimes it's the simple stuff that get you.
Anyways,... I managed to hover the entire run of my battery pack even with a pretty good breeze,... So far I am very impressed with the stability of the corona, and am very excited to finally be flying again.
