Cool
GWS DHC-2 Beaver with onboard video

I just made this cool little video of my GWS dhc-2 Beaver with a onbaoard video camera

Setup is a bp21 motor with (and now I know why they are so cheap the towerpro brushless esc) piece of junk..

Im going to replace it with one of my New Dualskys

prop 9070

battery dualsky 1050 11.1 volt 3 cell (this battery makes the plane a rocket as you can see from the take off)

Im going to switch the bp21 to a bp12 same setup I have in my slowstick.

anyways great fun...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egsLU2HeIHY

Check out the dead stick landing at the end. the esc was not smoth enough for me to throttle down gentle!

(you get what you pay for).

It was because of you I got interested in teh 5in1 and found one! these are so much fun!

It is small enough to put on any plane! and the video is good!

Very good video, almost the same as what I've seen on a flight simulator. Any information of this on board camera?

Here is another view of my video! no music on this one so you can hear the esc shut off, and that the throttle curve on this cheap esc is pretty poor!

on the landing I had to dead stick as I tried to cut the throttle but the motor just shut off.

Here's a pic of how I have been mounting the cam. I just cut a hole in the top of the wing and shoved it in!

Recently, I have been "velcroing" the camera to the side of the fuse(under the wing, on the CG) I use Scotch brand "Dual Lock" Holds the cam firm. More so than the "male/female" fuzzy velcro brand.

I need to do a better job of mounting the camera the shake made the video a little fuzzy!

Still alot of fun!

You can see where they are using the sprinklers at the local field!

The 5in1 weighs .7 oz. No external memory card. You can get one here
