Can you make sure this gets added to your section within the Battery Graph Vault. We are very excited about this cell and are going to run a special on it in the next few days for those that are interested.

That looks good. How much does a 3S pack weigh?

152g from their webpage. I was trying to compare this pack to an Apex pack, but I can't find the apex discharge curves anywhere in the vault, this one from Maxamps costs more and you have to pay a little extra to get a TP or Hyperion style balance connector.

Mike,

Hang in there for a day or so. We are putting the 3S 2100HV on sale for $47.99

I think that is less than the apex price.

Same price, apex pack is $47.95 for one, less for more quantity. I was mainly interested in how they perform relative to one another.

Mike,

I dont know how the Apex will perform. I have never seen a graph for one. I did notice that the weight is higher than our 2100HV packs. The 2100 will also put out over 2200mah as you can see from the graph. I don't know of another cell that will match it in performance or value.

Austin,

I have a 2S 2100 ProLite pack that I'd really like to increase to a 3S pack. TP won't sell individual cells, but I noticed that you do. Do you see a problem with adding one of your cells in series with a TP pack?

Thanks,
Randy

Randy,

I would not add it to the Thunder Power pack. The TP cells and the MaxAmps cells will perform differently and the capacity will not be the same. You would end up having to balance the pack on every cycle.

Austin,

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you are saying and am planning to charge the packs separately anyway. They will be put in series via connectors, not soldered. I also rarely use more than half the capacity before recharge. I am basically looking to see if the cells are similar enough to be used this way.

Thanks,
Randy
