From no Heli to hover/forward flight in 12 flights LOGO 10
I have never flown Helis at all; never felt like they have something to offer.
Only airplanes from 5oz. Foamy to 17lbs. Piper Cub and 150mph hollow molded Sunracer (pylon racer) since I was 10 years old.
I got sort of tired of flying, burned out. But this Heli Stuff is really very fun, finally new challenge.
My LOGO is incredibly stable machine, with TP4000 8S2P I get 16 minutes of flying. Always 2 flights per charge.
I have so far 12 flights and one light crash, fortunately only broken frame and bent main shaft. Silly me after 10 minutes of hovering I wanted to hover nose in, OK not recommended.
I have noticed one thing; fly max 10 minutes but every single day. With Heli itís so easy, small piece of grass and you got your private heaven.
Hovering for 10 minutes, moving carefully from right to left and back/forward.
Very slow number eights 3-4 feet above the ground, first 360 circle.
Finally got Heli higher than 10í, very scary. First climb out with 360 turn, even more scary.
Big figure eights, gradually getting higher and higher. Huge 360 circles, power pirouettes.
Slowly building confidence
My set up:
Logo 10 Carbon w/3D canopy
Hitec Fusion 9
555mm CF MAH

thats a great heli...nice setup and everything. Just try not to crash it, because what goes up will come down..just depends on when it comes down
