Kyosho HOR Special Gear & Sprocket options..
Which one is better and more durable? GPM make alloy gear & sprocket and Kyosho make something like derlin gear & sprocket.
Anyone try both and what would you recommand?

Unless you plan on racing, you really can't go wrong with what ever you buy.
I have used these in my original bike for over 2 years now.
And I have gone through 3 riders and 4 bodys so I am not gentle.
Alloy will work just fine but don't use a metal pinion or it will chew the alloy up. IMO I would use a plastic pinion with the alloy or a alloy pinion but with the gears above you can use anything.

I had the GPM allow gears in my bike for a while... but I also have a Mamba 6800 as well and after about a week of running my HOR, although the pinion ans spur were ok, the alloy front sprocket looked like sharks teeth and the chain began slipping..
if you are going to go with a powerful motor... stick with the Kyosho steel gears from the above link
