What do you think about that? will work?

200gr plane, with improved lenceRC (i make it 18 turn).
28 inch wingspam and 30 inch fuslege.
i got max 675gr trust at 9 amp with the PQ 300mah 3 cell.
i use 2 cell 300mah PQ to but the power run out fast (20 gr battery ).
about 500 gr trust at normal conditions.
the plane is a profile epp with flat wing.
about 40% CG center, well i test it a few times but the loops are very big and the knife loops to.
what can cause that? here is a pic of the plane:
thanks!!

rapghsi,

I have one of those and they are a bit fast for F3P flying, however they are great trainers for flying 3D indoors since they are pretty tough little birds. I would look at getting a slightly larger battery as the PQ 300 will not deliver enough amps for your motor.

Most F3P models will weigh 5 ounces or less and will be larger, typically 31" to 35" wingspan.

Way to much amps for the battery guy. We've done tests and your eating it alive at that amp rate plus your loosing so much voltage. You know your only gonna see about 20 cycles at that amp rate and the battery will be toast. Any 20C battery out there really only gives you great performance all around at 12C. Any more than that and its eating itself up. Yeh it will do it but not for long.

Plus like Jerry said the plane really doesn't work for this area it belongs up in the foamie area.

Now I wouldnt go writing this guy off. 200g is inthe ballpark for the larger F3P models, particularly the biplanes. For a monoplane it sounds heavy. EPP is an interesting material too.

The large loops can be caused by not enough movement (throw) on the elevator and rudder. You want at least 45 degrees of deflection. It could also be not a large enough control surface. From the pic your throws look pretty good, you might want more aileron throw/size.

It might also be the servo stalling in flight.

Rapghsi,

On my model that has a similar motor I am using a 750 mAh 3s1p pack that will handle the Amp draw of the motor. The PQ 300's can handle 6 amps maximum and that only for a short time. On my motors that only draw 4.5 amps or less I use my PQ 300's but these motors are on much lighter airframes that weigh 5 ounces or less.

Only trying to help, not discourage you,

Jerry

oh i understand.
i build this motor by my self, i think thats why it drows so much power.
i make it 17 turn with 28 AWG wire, i think i need to try thw 26 awg wire, and make it 20 turn, hope it will not draw so much amps.
the battery get alittle hot on 3d flight i think thats why.
i am lucky i still have two bran new 300 mah PQ batterys.
you think 20 turn 26 awg wire will make it work? and not draw too much amps?
thanks!

Rapghsi,

The motor that I am using is a Westport 17t 26ga, it draws about 4.5 amps on an 8*4 GWS HD prop.

sounds good, but i have some facts that make my plane heavier.
i use 20 amp ESC and i don't use the pull-pull system with wires, i use a metal pushrodes, do you have a suggest how to make horns from home materials?
or in a local hardware store?
i will try this pull-pull system to, should make the plane a little easier.
where can i found a manual about this pull-pull system?
i am new in this pettern subject, trying to convert my plane to pettern plane.
pettern is a 3d with precision, and much more organized am i correct?
thanks!
