Micro r/c car = Micro r/c airplane

Hey how would I make one of those micro r/c "Muscle cars"(or any other micro r/c car) into a r/c aircraft? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks

Go here:

Scroll down a bit to the rc car conversions section. Shouldn't take you more than a month or so to read it all. You're welcome

You could do with reading the thread referred to as well. Unless of course you just like to give out advice on topics you don't know anything about.

I would tend to agree with Michael. This subject has been researched and discussed. Close and lock thread!

To be more realistic...a stage2 xmods motor spins 30Krpm & that is variable right out of the box.Being from the very old school, I would find an old Balsa & Tissue paper de-Havilland/Beaver kit collecting dust in the back of your local mod. aircraft shop. The first one I built in'58 was free flight rubber band powered. The second(same kit) I went high tech with an .049 glow plug engine, with aux. tank & strategically placed by cheif(grandpa) engineer small lead counter weight or ballast & of course high tech control lines! If you have read this far & are still awake, the purpose to all this history is; If this well constructed & very light & strong aircraft will haul a vintage .049,2 full fuel tanks plus ballast & control line(heavy gauge wire) connections....then why couldn't the same time tested aircraft be slightly re-engineered to accomodate servo's,power supply, reciever & motor to make a darn fine indoor & outdoor aircraft! I think Stromberg may carry those vintage kits. Good Luck!
