just finished the me-109. the result is it's to heavy, it flies about 3-6 feet above the ground, if i had one i would put a small 3 cell on it. looks like i'll put the electronics on a roun-tuit.

Sorry to hear that. I've only used 3-cells on mine. What prop are you running?

Ok. I think a higher pitch would help.

I thought about once after seeing a RTF version for sale. Looks very cool (can you post a higher resolution picture?). How does it fly?

Larger Me 109 Z (Zwiling or Twin) Photos

this is the 3 view I used, notice I added the outer tail sections

Sorry I dont have the greatest camera, it flys great, little pitch sensitive, I've just added the tail extensions, they make it look alot better, haven't flown it with them but they should calm it down a bit.

It's powered by 2 Blue Wonders of the 1700kv variety, spinning counter rotating 7x5's, 2 18a Super Simple esc's (overkill yes all I had ), the red lead of one esc is removed and a Y connector to the rx, 4 5gr servos, (2 for ailerons on a Y connector, one for elevator and one for flaps), a Corona 6ch synth rx and 2x 1000mah Zippy Flightmax 2s 20c, one on each esc.

AWG is 16oz, I could save some weight by using 10a esc's and smaller batts.

Hi! This is a really grate 109. Im just wondering if its possible to just use AIL and ELE on this plane? Or do I have to put the RUDDER on as well...?

Just saw your post, sorry for the delay. It works fine with aileron and elevator, no rudder needed.
