Hello Apolo 1
As you have no e-mail . . . ![]() Do you have a decent printer ? Go to: http://www.larioedp.it/Public/duro/profili/default.htm or http://www.larioedp.it/Public/durone...li/default.htm and download Profili. It is a free aerofoil plotting program ! Therein you will find all you need - You can even 'design' your own NACA 4-digit sections ! ![]() Keven |

Hello
![]() I visited the website in the link above - that's a great site - I would never have thought of scanning the wing ! - So I'm going to draw up a 'Zagi' copy now on a large sheet of paper. Then I'll decide whether or not to try foam or get balsa-bashing ! I know that the servos are in the wings for the elevons, but where does the Rx & nicad live in the glider version ? Thinking of a Speed400 powered version too ! Hehehe ! regards ! ttfn ! Keven |

Hi Jason, nice looking wing you got there. I'm building my first flying wing too,
these wings need to be right on to fly true. They are not as forgiving as a conventional fuselage plane. Here are some sites that might help with your wings success. http://www.b2streamlines.com/winglinks.html http://www.desktopaero.com/appliedae.../tailless.html http://www.utahflyers.org http://www.mh-aerotools.de/airfoils/flywing1.htm This site here is good for figuring out the CG of swept back flying wings. http://www.aerofoam.com/wngtrmpg.html The flying wing forum at RC Groups is great place to get plans and to learn about building them. Don't give up on your new wing, dail it in till you get the CG right. Your wing might need some vertical stabs on the outer tips, winglets. When building your new flying wing chose the right airfoil and Geometric Twist. Gotta go build something. See ya, Al. |

Here's a nice flying wing build thread for you from daydreamer. This one's been in the rc groups forum for years. Take a look to see if you like it, I'm going to try
one, and put my Horten HOIII design on hold. I need to learn more about airfoils and washout. Here you go: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316871 Fly'em if ya gottem, Al.. another: IFO nut |
