I am about to finish building the minimum 3 blades version .
Some questions :
Is the thickness of GF head plate 0,5 mm critical , is 0,8mm too much ? I did not find less , I have to search more !
I read somewhere here that height of motor thrust must be 1,4 inch above CG , is it OK ? or some other value is better ?
My overall weight comes to 630 gr , should I use longer blades to have more than 930 mm rotor diameter ? for instance 500 mm long blades instead of 450 mm to get 1030 mm rotor diameter ?
Are these values OK : 15° aileron , 8° elevator , ....... ?
Hang angle : 8° ? Are other values OK too ?
I added a rudder , with maximum throw , is that OK ?

I have been flying a couple of three blade minimums for several years and have found that the plastic lid of a "Tupperware " container makes a ver good hinge for the blades.
Your weight is just a little more than my models ...but should be OK and not require longer blades. This model is very "floaty" ..... Re the thrust......Can't remember the details.....but I just went as per the plan.
Your angles look OK Rudder max..OK

Hi Andre,
I used some 0.8mm glass fibre sheet once and managed to survive one flight, the handling was not very good. I now only use 0.5mm Gf sheet, try this link, great products http://www.bucks-composites.com/cate...ss-fibre-sheet

Thanks for infos
I finaly found ,5mm glass fiber sheets
I flew it without problem except I find it oscilate a lot ( pendulum movement left to right )
Perhaps it ocures because I only have 5° hang angle ?
I will try to fly it adding weight forward to get some 10 or 12° hang angle , perhaps it will help !
Last my CG is straight in the motor thrust line , not over like I read in a post !
Perhaps this is wrong ?

I've not done much flying this year but I did have it out last Sunday when the weather was perfect (~5mph steady wind).

According to this gentleman......this is "HIS" new design ?????????????????..................... Makes me think that I have seen something similar before......I could be wrong??
