Geewhiz, Maybe D.C. Could Use a Concealed Carry Law

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/07/12/D8IQH9P05.html

It's worked everywhere else it's been tried.

I especially like the part about: "Police are asking Mall visitors to "be our eyes and ears," Fear said. "We're going to ask them to be vigilant."

Yea, like how a bunch of sheep will make lot's of noise while wolves are tearing them apart... and the shepherd is miles away.

Highflight,

You better be careful, you might start another anti-firearm debate.

No, he'll start a pro-firearm debate, which will somehow morph into a "who makes the best sausages" one

I remember Archie Bunker's TV editorial on one episode where he declared that the solution to high-jacking would be to arm all the passengers with guns. Seems kinda logical nowadays!!!

nah, it's just plain ol throat slashings and other stuff. it's not fair to other citizens to allow the common people to have a lethal defense just because of knife attacks, robberies, beatings and rapes.

the cops will protect the citizens, crime is no reason to allow citizens to arm themselves, it's just too dangerous.

protecting citizens piecemeal, after the crime, armed with what the citizens are forbidden to protect themselves with, is what the cops are for.

I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

your right. At least you are around to give an account of what went down and appeal to the common sense of the jury. But really, in my case, the alternative would be that I would have to be carried by 12, not 6

I like how Texas has an "express lane" to carry out the death penalty for those dumb enough to take that road.

No way man. If you're in Texas, it's Hillshire Farms hands down.
They're GREAT for an outdoor barbeque after shooting a healthy round of IPSC. http://www.ipsc.org/

Jimmy Deans in the tube. Roll yer own, sez I.

I'm partial to the "Sage" seasoned, myself.
